The amenities are quite nice. I'd like to see that the campsites are taken care of, which they weren't. The sites NEED to be cleaned up. Such as grass in the rocks, water ruts/run off in the sites. Overall better delineation of the sites.
It is very much off the beaten path. On our journey there from our previous campsite it was a 2 lane road all the way there. Very scenic. The staff is very friendly. I would definitely go back and stay long if given the chance. It is part of coast ti coast which was a plus as well!!!
Been a member since 2009 when kids were small and used it all the time. Now kids are out of house and want to cancel member ship. It's a time share and you can't cancel. You can give it to someone but will cost you 1500 dollars to transfer it.
When we bought it to it they said you could cancel anytime as long as it was payed off..... STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE....
Had blast with family. Beds weren't very comfortable but we had sis babe the basic amenities. Rooms were like kitchenettes. Indoor, outdoor pools were great for the kids. Have horseback riding but you have to reserve that and small fee. Free things to do. Quiet, family oriented. You have to be owner or know owner that invites you. Trust me. They check credentials and make sure of that! I loved that we had our own personal balcony and some had patios. You don't share that space with anyone. People were friendly. Fishing and outdoor things to do. See lots of dear all over the propertu. Space for rv owners and indoor facility to host parties and it wad air conditioned. Over all it was nice time. Oh yeah.. they have a tiki bar on site. Serves did and drinks
Its such a heavy heart to write this overly lengthy review. We have been a member here for 20 years, to just see it now be a shell of its former self is so saddening to me and my family. They had 2 huge fires knocking out the two biggest attractions. The one building used to have a HUGE indoor pool and a wonderful little ice cream joint upstairs, i think it had racketball courts in there too. In its place stands an ugly, tiny, useless hall for God knows what. I literally dont know what that area is for, weddings maybe? I could live with the new indoor pool not being as good, because the old one was amazing, BUT the new indoor pool is TINY it only goes to like 4ft and they are in a camera room watching you the entire time, its weird/creepy. The sports center is now filled with weird pointless halls/rooms. The rates have been steadily going up but i dont know where the money is going, because the roads are terrible the rooms havent been updated since we got them(aside from tvs). We recently went there one last time before we get rid of it, and despite there best efforts to ruin our time, we made some final good memories.
Stayed in RV section. The spots were large, easy to back into and very level. It was off season so not many people around but weekends had a few more campers. The inside pool and hot tub were nice, clean and pool was a comfortable temperature. Staff was very friendly. I definitely will go back.
Lost Valley Lake Resort is a beautiful getaway, I went with my family. Though we are not officially members, the experience is one that really makes you want membership. It's a wonderful little getaway, the service and staff were wonderful as well. A lot of the rooms were very basic in design, but were not bad. Recommend bringing your own cover, and the beds slightly uncomfortable, but overall a great experience for the family.
Haven't been here for 5 years. Alot of improvements including internet service& outdoor pool. Workers were all polite& checked in without any problems.
